I went to GHS & graduated from there. It was a VERY easy curriculum when I was in highschool. I think if the teachers/principals would have been more focus on a better education for students rather than new disipline strategies our graduating class would have had a lot more students. Only about half of my class graduated. I remember one day my English teacher asked our class who planned on going to college & only half of my class raised their hands & all my teacher did was roll her eyes. As a current education major the thought of that makes me sick. I feel that most of these teacher just do whatever to get by.

I am a current student at granbury high school and i beleive that this is not neccesarily the best school. There are tons of fights and it is very political and the teachers play favorites a lot. I am involved in many activities and i have felt like i was not accepted because neither me or my parents had the money or time to put into to that activity simply because i am in other activities too. But i must say the ag teachers are the best thing this school has.

Granbury technology limits the webtools we can use, making it difficult for technology classes and other none computer classes from teaching lesson online or doing researching projects online over all i give i give granbury 2 stars for not supporting new ways of teaching online.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
