The rating Daniel Phelan Elementary School received does not reflect the outstanding school that it is! It received a 4 out of 10 based on state test results. The staff, support staff, and parents work together to ensure that every student succeeds in a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. My children attended Daniel Phelan and are now successful young adults. I worked as an instructional aide and as a teacher at Daniel Phelan Elementary School. It is truly a great shcool!
I love this school. I have 2 of my children there and I'm very pleased with their academic achievements. They both had advanced result on the CST exam and I know is due to their teachers hard work and of course the encouragement we give them.
The best school my children could have ever attended. Ms. Baccus, the Principal, is the best, most caring, most involved principal ever. The teachers & staff are also, in my opinion, the best around. My children loved going to school.
Phelan is a great school overall it has a friendly staff that is willing to do anything for the students. Recently becoming a California Distinguished School Phelan teachers and staff make an ongoing effort to assure that the students are getting the best education that they are able to povide. Great A+ school.
