We moved to Grandview for the schools. We have been very pleased with the results of the teachers and programs. I have twins that are seniors this year and a first grader. The twins came from Venus school district which was in my opinion not a good school district. They went from barely passing to A and B honor roll. One is currently president of the band and student council in Grandview. The other is treasurer of student council and pitcher for the varsity team. This school and it's teachers has made the difference in how my children felt about school and have encouraged them to excell. The attitude of the majority of students at grandview is that it is not cool to fail. Therefore students want to be smart and pass. I can not say enough good things about this school district and their staff of teachers and coaches

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
