*The teachers are great at the "No Bully" Policy, very communicative, & generally seem to care about the children. *The band program is helpful to the under-privileged kids whose parents can't afford the lessons and/or equipment rentals. *I appreciate being invited to participate in the assemblies & field trips.

My children attend this school, teachers are hands on, they really seem to care about your children, the principal is always around. the place could use some upgrading, but don't judge the book by it's cover. The teachers & all the staff do a really great job.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
