I feel that Leigh has taken steps to improve the curriculum since being under a new principal's leadership. I feel there is a big push to support the improvement of reading in the classroom. However, I feel the school is lacking programs to support those students who need extra support or enrichment. For example, tutoring for those children who do not typically qualify for special programs in school still may need additional reinforcement that can be made in before or after school tutoring programs. In addition to that, I would like to see accelerated classes to challenge those students like my own child in reading and math.
