Curtin is a good school with good teachers, good administrators and good kids.

My son is currently attending Curtin and I think it is a very good school. I like the fact that it's diverse, and it offers a great music program. The school where my son transfered from didn't even have music less more than guitars! Keep up the good work!

I am proud to say that I am a teacher at my middle school alma matter. Curtin pride runs deep in my immediate and extended family. Curtin is my neighborhood school. My wife and I both attended this school. I was the 4th generation from my family to attend this public school and my child will attend here someday. My great aunt often told the story about how she was in the class that walked from the old downtown school to the present building. Curtin is recently full of life and we're working to be back on top. Our scores are increasing, our students are responsible citizens, our teachers are young, knowledgeable, and energetic and the administration is supportive and proactive. I'm proud to be here, and I take pride that 'the pride is back.'

This is a good school with strong leadership. The music program is very good. There are many resources for academically struggling students. The population is diverse and there are fights and foul language, but the principal is a strong disciplinarian.
