I haven't lived in Huntland 'my whole life' and neither has my child. As far as some of the people in town that really didn't matter. But when it comes to the Huntland School System and administrators it leaves much to be desired. I have never felt like more of an outsider than I have speaking with the administration. How can you make someone feel unwelcome in the school were their child goes? Do you have something to hide?

Huntland School is so much more than just a school. I have been a part of this community my whole life and have been involved with this school,as my parents were, since attending kindergarden and graduation from high school here. We have caring teachers and administrators who treat students with respect as they would treat their own children. This school is a vital part of the community and when events are going on at school- ie.- games, band concerts, pagents, festivals, etc - the whole community participates. The overwhelming Christian atmosphere is a huge positive . This school is like a little private community school that you too can be a part of . Come join us . Thank God for Huntland School.
I think Huntland is a great school. There are those who would have things to say to otherwise. As such is the case with one such comment posted on Novevmber 18, 2008. The person that wrote those remarks diplays a lack of education themself.ow`can they be disappointed in a school and run it down when they obviously posess poor grammar skills as evidenced in that post. 'Those who oppose acadamia should first use it to improve their own grammatical skills before blatantly displying such ignorance as was posted on that day.
I'm a senior, and have been attending this school since Kindergarten. Not many people can say they have been going to the same school that long. The atmosphere at school is so incredibly unique. The diversity in age of the students, I think, makes Huntland a great place to learn because the younger kids look up to the older ones. Everyone learns from everyone at Huntland. Our Spanish class had the oppotunity once to interact with the first graders, and teach them some simple Spanish words. If you open our yearbook, you will see pictures of highschool students helping the elementary, or hugging the younger children. Mr. Bishop is a great principal, and has a right to be considered 'God'. He has been a Hornet for many years, is very accomplished, and has given us reason to be dignified. *BAM*
