The school has a highly academic program and is unique in that a teacher acts as a mentor and advisor for high school students who are enrolled in the Running Start Program through the community colleges. Since it is a parent partnership program, parental involvement is required. Students from all grades are taught at least one subject at home with a parent or designee as teacher.
