Wyomissing is a very diverse and changing district. Although there has been some hesitation to the changing climate of the school, the school board and community have been very accepting and worked very hard to give all kids that deserve it a chance to excel. My son learned skills at this school so valuable to him that he used specific advice and help from former teachers to establish a new club at a major university. Wyomissing not only has a very personal atmosphere that encourages students to work very hard to succeed post high school, but also with Wyomissing area's changing atmosphere welcomes new ideas of diversity, acceptance, and problem solving. I would definitely recommend this wonderful district to any parent looking for one of the best schools in the state.

Not the best school in Berks by a long shot!!! Been in Wyo over 7 years. Schooling here is hit and miss. Our kids have high IQs and super involvement, yet stuggle continually with socialization issues (bullying in particular) This districts superb 'reputation' is holdover from the past.
