I rate LMS with 1 star being the parent of 2 students that have attended LMS,I found it a very unenjoable expierience we were encountered with racism being openly expressed;When as a parent I approached the issues openly I found that there was no where I could go to help.

My son started 6th grade this year and I have to say that his teachers have been outstanding! They genuinely seem to care about him. As far as the rest of the staff I haven't really been too impressed. The ladies that work in the main office are usually very short and very quick to dismiss my phone calls, which I have only called a couple of times for what I think have been good reasons. I do think that this school is a very 'clique' oriented school. Middle school years are hard enough for our kids to go through but when your kids are around teachers and staff who let them be defined by who their friends are or what they wear or who their parents are it makes it harder not only on the kids but us as parents also.

As a current student at LMS I feel that we have equal learning orrpuntities and discipline. Each stundent is given a chance for a club at a given time during school and has the oppruntunite to play sports. Some of the things can be workeed on yes but overall it is a great school.

Being a parent of a new middle school student I have not been very impressed with LMS. I found after my daughter had a accident at school that the leaders do not seem very concerned about the safety of their students. Hopefully the will one day see that everyone should be treated with equal care.
