CCHS does very little in terms of providing for the basic needs of its students. The classes do very little to stimulate our academic and intellectual growth. I am now a senior and through my years I've gruelingly observed that an overwhelmingly amount of the teachers are sub-par, if that. I would love to attend a school where there is a real sense of tradition and where a true brotherhood among the students can be felt. The only reason why I am still here is because my parents can't afford a 'superior education' even though other private schools in the Miami-Dade area offer excellent scholarships.

This school develops our minds, bodies, and our hearts. I am now a sophomore at the school and I would never want to go to another school. It is a school filled with TRADITION. My father, uncles, cousins, and brothers came here and have now gone into the work force as successful and confident men. I hope and pray that I will grow up to become like them and I feel it is essential to come to Columbus so I can achieve that. Columbus is a diverse school with a nitch for everyone. This school teaches the top students and the bottom students. I can say this because my brothers were top students and my father was a bottom student. To this day my father is a successful entrepreneur providing for a large family. And I am proud to call myself a Columbus Explorer. Adelante!

CCHS is a blessing for our family. Our Son has grown and blossomed there - He went to Public School for K-8 and was bullied and often an outcast. At CCHS he has become a confident, responsible young man. The Marist Brothers are the best at relating to these boys and instilling life values that go far beyond academics. I love this school and highly recommend it for its balance between academics, sports, spiritual values and service to others. Your BOY will become a MAN at CCHS.

By far the greatest school in the state of Florida. I've bounced around from top- 50 rated public and private schools, but no school can even begin to compete with what Columbus has to offer. The unique style of teaching at Columbus makes for always exciting and intriguing classes. Many teachers at Columbus are past Columbus students themselves, so they naturally relate to the students better than the average teacher. Even though teachers and administration are very good at what they do, I learned more about life, responsibility, and prioritizing than anything else. If I could go back to Columbus for another four years to attain a high school diploma, or go to any other school for one year, you better bet I'd be back at Columbus.
