I have nothing but great things to say about this school. Very kind and professional enviroment. We were very pleased with the teachers and staff. We had to move to Tn. and I am not happy with the school my children are in now. My children were in such a positive enviroment and now they have teachers that are negative and disrespectful. I want to move back!!!!

Before entering RMS, we began looking at private schools in Chattanooga because we had heard 'horror' stories about RMS. We had not yet visited the school to assess the program for ourselves. Our boys, we have two ages 13 and 10, are extremely bright and have been assessed as 'gifted.' They are normal boys with the same needs and interests as other boys. Our oldest child was accepted to one of the more prestigious schools in Chattanooga but he did not want to attend because he wanted to stay close to his friends. He is in the 8th grade now and is thriving!! He has been in all of the gifted classes and today is taking the exit exam at RHS for APGeometry. I sub at RMS on a regular basis and know that it has problems, as all schools. I also know that the staff has been fantastic! Thanks

My children attend RMS. Our experiece with this school has had its ups and downs. We have some great teachers and we have had some who don't want to even help a child with a question. We have had some great experieces with some of the Principals. The school is over crowded and not enough teachers to look after children;on field trips mine have been lost twice the school did not tell me my children did.Teachers sream at children. Hope Herritage is better.

My son started RMS this year in the 6th grade. I was very scared. I had a meeting with the principal, Mr. Bradford, and he was able to calm my nerves, somewhat. My son had adapted very well and received his first middle school report card last week. He had all A's. He has wonderful teachers and so far has had a pleasant experience.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
