I forgot to add that the office staff; Dale Christianson, Principal; Chris Hyrkas, Secretary; and Mary the nurse, are extremely in tune with the needs of the students, and represent Becker Primary well. Our experience has been very positive.

Extracurricular activities are fantastic, but I found the teachers are just average.

My son changed schools from Big Lake school to Becker school in K, when my son came to your school did not know how to spell his full name and with in less then one month my son now knows how to spell his name. Lien the special ed teacher is great with my son, she takes time with him and removes him from class as needed and is very great teacher including this K teacher she is great with my son.

I am thrilled with the level of care given at Becker Primary! It seems to me that the teachers truly care about the students. When my child had trouble, we were told about it right away and kept up to date as what we could try next. I appreciate this school!

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
