This is not only a great school but a great community. We are a new family here at this school but we already feel that we belong. The teachers & principal are very supportive and the PTA is very active in getting kids & parents to participate in school events. My daughter's current teacher is very informative and always responds immediately to whatever questions we have. It is a small school with a huge heart. :-)

I love Sunol Glen school. I'm extremely happy with the changes and hope new and exciting things that are what is best for kids keeps happening! I have two children at the school and they are both happy, love their teachers and the Principal. It's a great school!

In response to the posting about the 4/5 class there is no plan for this next year. I work at the school. The plan was for the k-3 classes. Multi-Age classes will always be a reality due to the small size of our school. It makes sense to build a strong multi-age program when the school has combos every year. The teachers researched what would be the best program for our students and our school. The new program has been successful in Pleasanton schools for over 30 years! Parents need to stop berating programs, classes, teachers, etc and lend a helping hand to make them as successful as possible. Our teachers are working hard and are collaborating to implement this amazing program. You can't judge until you observe the classes. Inside the classroom, the students are thriving and happy:)

I'm a mom of 3. One of my children graduated Sunol Glen two years ago and is a high school sophomore now. One is still at the school. I have a 3rd who is not yet school aged. We actually live in Pleasanton, which is one of the 'best' school systems in the Bay area. People move to our town just to attend the schools. However, my kids attend Sunol Glen. I'm very hard to please when it comes to my kids education and in the 7 years we have been a Sunol Glen family, I've always felt my kids were getting a great education in the best environment. The new Prinicipal is awesome, we are lucky to have her. Anyone who is unhappy with Sunol Glen, I will say this: No one is forcing you to keep your kids there, so you can always feel free to pull them out.
