i have 2 daughters that will be going to school this year. 1 went last year there and i was very pleased with the school and the teacher. i have 3 older children that went to centralia scool and in all years they were there they were not as good as the 1 that we have had here in chehalis

My daughter is a Kindergartner at Cascade School. From the first day we enrolled in the school the experience has been excellent. My daughter is enrolled in full day Kindergarten and will have the same teacher next year. The full day allows more time for the teacher to provide one on one help when needed. The full day, 5 days per week provides continuity in th process for my daughter. The number of parents I have seen volunteering in all of the classrooms is excellent. The quality of Educational Assistants working with teachers also insures a quality program. My daughters Reading and writing skills have improved immensely in 6 short months. My daughter knows her numbers and is using them in various math games. The administration and teachers all follow a consistant disciplinary code with the children. Respect for others, personal behavior expections. Recognition for accomplishments and personal rewards go a long way with these kids. The atomosphere in the building is comfortable and conducive to learning. The safety and security of each student is closely monitored from the administration to the crossing guards, playground duties, and a great number of parents.
