Like all Oswego Schools there is not support for special ed. The academics are less than rigorous. Cannot compare with surrounding schools. If you are not an athlete choose another school.

Academic integrity is low. Kids getting sub-standard grades are pushed along through the system. Almost everyone is on the honor roll! Makes it less meaningful for those who work hard to make good grades. I moved here several years ago from district 204 where kids had to work hard. This school leaves much to be desired. Only shining star in the school is the band program. Best band program in the area. The teacher is exceptional!

The academic programs are substandard and cater to below-average students. Too much emphasis on sports (killer competitive attitudes) that carries on to the high school. Good old boys networking within staff - they only care about the good athletes and those who have been in this town for more than 10 years or who are politically connected.

Excellent, caring, professional staff resulting in a caring, nurturing school climate. There is a pervasive atmosphere of 'good feeling' among all in this school.
