Jefferson is an absolutely wonderful elementary school! The principal shows strong leadership with his teachers and students and is highly visible and involved in the school! The teachers are committed to their students development in all areas! The PTA is strong and active! There is a good mix of kids ranging from every background! All in all - Jefferson offers a safe, productive learning environment!

My son is in the 3rd grade with some minor learning diffrences but is thriving at his new school. He is happy and he is thriving. At his last school home work and class work were a challenge for him to complete but at Jefferson he is much more comfortable and confindent.

Jefferson is a fantastic, loving and caring atmosphere to send your kids to. It does not matter the class they are in, all the teachers are the same, THEY CARE! And they work so well with the parents. You want to be involved for your child and for the teachers. They have a great music department, as well. We also like the academic format that they use. They challenge the children at a young age and it shows the children that they can do great things at a young age. I just can't say enough good things about this school.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
