Under the warm and caring leadership of Rebecca and Al Giannella and with the support of intelligent and enthusiastic teachers, this montessori school is top notch. I sent my daughter here from when she was 2.5 years old until 8 years old and we have enjoyed every second of her time there. Best of all, my daughter LOVES going to this school, evident by her accelerated academic performance and love of learning. I always recommend this school to anyone looking for a more personalized education for their child.

Rebecca and Alfred Giannella along with their staff foster well being for their students. They encourage the montessori educational practice that helps children develop creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and time-management skills, to contribute to society and the environment, and to become fulfilled persons in their particular time and place on Earth.

My daughter is currently enrolled in their 'primary class' (K-1st grade) The class size is really nice - 10 students with a teacher and an aide. The staff is really wonderful with the kids. My daughter is slightly advanced for her age and I was worried about 2 things - would she would be challenged enough? and would she be overwhelmed and discouraged if she was pushed too hard? For now my worries are dispelled - the teachers deal with her on an individualized pace and she has blossomed! The school offers many extra classes both in the regular curriculum and as extracurricular activities - art and spanish are included and music (2 different classes), computers, and tumbling (tumble bus) are extra. Parents are encouraged to be involved - to volunteer to come and do special crafts with the children or talk about special subjects. The teachers are very available to talk about any concerns you may have.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.

you shouldn't have more than 2 hours of homework a day if that, you should only have up to 1 hour really. maybe 15 minutes a subject.
