I am a graduate of the Boyertown Area School District. Currently, I am guardian to a grandchild attending Boyertown Area Jr. High West. I commend the committment of the teachers, the principal, and assistant principal. My grandchild had difficulties that required a team effort and I worked closely with all those people to get my grandchild on track. The no-nonsense, cooperative effort we adopted in addressing problems has made all the difference and will have life-long benefits for my grandchild. This school went above and beyond and I will be eternally grateful. Finally, for those who may be impacted by negative ratings, I would like to say that parental involvement is essential...teachers cannot run disruption-free classrooms if parents do not communicate behavioral expectations to their children and institute consequences when those expectations are not followed.

i love this school. we purposely move here because of the school district. in all the school that i have researched on and the word of mouth i am very pleased with boyertown area senior high school.
