Crispell is a good school, if you're not being bullied every day. My son has been taken out of this school for their bullying problem. The school does nothing to corect it and pretty much says "kids will be kids" or to just try and simply ignore it but how can you ignore something that happens on a daily basis? I will never send my child back to that place.

Principal is proactive re: discipline and promoting appropriate behavior. Monthly Parents Forum available. Quality of instruction and feedback to the student varies greatly. Some teachers have a published grading policy, some don't. Some grade and return everything, some don't. Had to privately tutor composition and math all three years. Book:student ratio in library needs improvement. Specials teachers are all on the ball. Swim program has been cancelled. Some clubs are available but not publicized well. Honors and accel placements -looking for 95 average or better in preceding nonhonors year along with teacher rec. Honors SS, English, and Accelerated Math available in 7th. Accel. Math, Accel. Science and Honors SS, English available in 8th. Must accelerate in both science and math (not just one) due to scheduling.

Crispell is a great school for learning! Late principal Pat Materazza empowered his teachers many years ago to take actions that would support active student learning--taking advantage of the natural work-a-holic nature of most teachers. Keep up the good work!
