Amazing place. Truly inspiring. I feel so fortunate to have had my child there for 3 wonderful years before having to move out of state.
Shining Rivers Waldorf School is a wonderful place, with committed and involved parents and teachers who love the school. My third grade son goes happily to school every day. He's getting a great well-rounded education, with a focus on art, movement, music, gardening, and games in addition to the academics. The academics are strong, presented in creative ways that speak to the children, and are tailored to the age of the children throughout the early childhood and grades programs. All of my children have a real connection to the earth and nature through their play at the school and the beautiful surroundings, both inside and out.
I cannot imagine sending my children anywhere else! Shining Rivers takes a wholistic approach educating the heart, hands and minds of children. It has a curiculum that is substantive, rich and academically challenging and tracks with both the physical and mental development of the child. We love it and feel so fortunate to have found the school!
