This was at one time a loving, academically challenging school with a great reputation in the community. This past year things changed so much that I took my children out. It is a shame changes were not made sooner to save the reputation of this wonderful school.
This school has just had major staff changes, the popular principal and several staff are no longer on board as of four days before the new 09-10 school year, leaving many parents in shock at the large maximum capacity class sizes. The school is a ministry of the church, and their budget cuts have disrupted this once amazing school. The class for K5 and 1st grade is overflowing w/ 25 students, one teacher and and aide. The church/schools refusal to divide the class into two classrooms has damaged its credibility. I see this school suffering from its own church led actions. With raised tuition, their should be no budget cuts. I expected more as my children have attended CFA over the past 20 years. The new K-Pal program is a joke, very geared for babies and not up to academic standards,
I attended the school when it was PBA. I ended up working there as a teenager and it has had such a great influence through my life. You get the attention you deserve, as a student. There is always someone that can help you. The classrooms are so awesome! They have different themes for each room. :)
