The principal and teachers make Charter Oak an amazing elementary school. They do an incredible job ensuring that students are learning while also teaching them life skills necessary to become successful outside of school. A job well done!
I love the teachers & supporting staff. The principal is terrific with the kids & parents. We will be moving out of the district soon & I'm most upset about leaving Charter Oak. If I could, I'd take Charter Oak w/me!!!!!!!
absolutely has to be the best school in the 150 school district with an outstanding staff and the highest quality principal anywhere
Charter Oak is one of the best, if not the best, elementary school in Peoria. The teachers are there to teach and really care about the children. There is a strong PTC which raises lots of money to purchase items like playground equipment and computers. The principal listens to parents and takes actions on our concerns. There is diversity in the student population, just like in the real world. The ISAT scores are great. My children have had a wonderful learning experience at this school.
