i went to school in kendrick my whole life and was also in the same class as two of the people who wrote reviews before. I played sports and I believe that the athletic programs allow people to do better in school because when you are young you dont think about your edjucation. when your young your just thinking about staying on the team and you do everything schoolwork wise to make good grades so you can play. also sports teach you respect and teamwork wich are things i personally use in everyday life being in the military. I believe this is a good school and if i would have taken full advantage of what they tried to teach me life would be a lot better right now.

I would have to agree I attended this school from 7-12grade and graduated from here and this school is definately about the sports. Also if you are associated with 'Bad people' you are considerd one! Everyone thinks they know everyone in this school and they tend to have lots of rummors also. I am glad to be out of there and would not recommend this school to kids who have low self esteem. You have to play sports to be respected.

Too much emphasis on sports. You'll get a day off to go to a game but won't get a day off if the roads are treacherous. Some faculty are clearly out of their league when it comes to some of the classes they are made to instruct but boy can they coach!! If there is a conflict between sports and the arts, sports will prevail. There has been an improvement in the curriculum lately but more work is needed. KHS has a great music program but scheduling conflicts force many to withdraw. Surely this can be resolved.

the teachers are great, but the administration is not, aand the lack of funding does not help matters any. there is a strong emphasis on sports here.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
