Chester Middle school is one of the best school in Chesterfield, my son went there in now entering college to become a history teacher, his goal was to be a teacher a Chester Middle but that dream will not come true for him since they are closing Chester Middle at the end of school. I am sorry to see that happen

This is a GREAT school! My daughter just completed her third year here and had a wonderful experience. She cried the last day of school because she didn't want to leave the CMS community. I found the administration to be very helpful and the teachers to be excellent. My daughter received a good education in a safe and nurturing environment. I can't recommend this school enough!

I have a child that was in Chester Middle School for 6th grade. I must say I have been very dissatisfied. It is obvious that most of these teachers are here for a paycheck rather than to teach the children. The administration is slow to address parent concerns and often offer little solution. I value education and feel that this school needs a teacher overhaul. The teachers are only invested in the advanced students and are only ushering the other students along. I do not recommend this school if you are seeking a quality education for your child.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
