My daughter has spent two years at Cushman, and I've been very happy. We had some problems last year when there was a lot of (unexpected) staff turnover in her room. This year, however, has been outstanding. Her teachers are creative and compassionate and just plain fun. A few of my favorite things about Cushman: the kids are outdoors all the time (even in winter); there are always cool, open-ended objects to play with; they are always doing great art projects; the teachers understand gender differences and accomodate their teaching to boys and girls equally well; and kids are celebrated for who they are, without pressure to conform. I'd send my daughter back in a heartbeat.
