My child loves CTE! He has had great success and is treated equelly to the other children! Every teacher cares about their students and goes above and beyond to ensure their success!

I have a child at CTE. He loves it there and so do I. I went to a large school and I still don't know half the people that I graduated with. I am envolved with the PTO and wish that more parents and teachers and staff would be more envolved it PTO also. But I love the teachers and all of the staff.

Now that school is almost out and my child is moving on to High School, I can be frank. Compared to Diamond Hill Elementary, Cherokee Trails is a joke. The test scores are fine and techers for the most part are good, but the overall atmosphere is horrible. Children are imtimidated and bullied by staff and there is no parental involvement encouraged. Even the so called PTO is predominately controlled by staff. And for the Awards...ever school in Abbeville System is a Palmetto Award winner. I am just thankful that I can finally put Cherokee Trails in my rear view mirror and pity the remaining children there.

I feel that our school is a great place for children to learn. Concerning parent involvement, I feel that as a parent my job is to send my child to school disciplined, with needed supplies, and ready to learn. The teachers of my children are always very involved in helping us help our children. They are there when I need them and truly love what they have chosen to do for a profession. Parents and community memebers need to remember to support the educational process! We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful learning environment for our future leaders where teachers know the students and their families.
