This is a small school that strives to produce quality academics in a rural environment with minimal funding.
This School gets 1.5!! Budget continues to be a huge sore thumb for the parents and the taxpayers. I hope it can get fixed with the economy in the condition that it's in but I'm not sure how they intend to do it.

Our four children have attended Florence Carlton School from Kindergarten through high school graduation. They all have been well prepared for college. As with any school, what students and parents put in to education is what they will get out of it. There are more opportunities for specialized classes at other, larger schools, but among small, rural schools, Florence is tops.

I go to Florence and I must say that I really don't like it. There's not very many oppotunities in sports or classes. Students are very cliquish and it's hard to fit in. Not a very welcoming school. Over crowded and a lot of things are being cut. There are also elementary and middle school kids around every corner which besides being slightly annoying, it takes away from the fact that the kids are in high school and should have that separation from the younger grades.
