If your child is planning on attending Harvard or Yale, this is the school for him or her. My child did not exactly relish the idea of FIVE hours of homework at night and since he has been in public school, he went from F's at OLA to A's and B's at his new school. There is a sense of aloofness in the office and some people employed there look down their noses at you. I would not recommend this school to a child who is creative, happy and not college bound.

This school is horrible. The teatchers are a bunch of grade gifters and the student help days are usless. I do not recomend this school to anybody.

I believe OLA is doing a good job with what they have. The extracurricular activities are limited but on the good side of that, several students I know found they loved and were good at a sport that wouldn't have been able to experience in larger school. The academics are good and not a lot of homework so they are getting the job done in class (important to my family), the teacher isn't having to concentrate on discipline problems. They have security cameras in all the hallways and most of the students have respect for others. I do wish OLA had more choices for classes and extracurricular activities but it is a small school and if your child does well in that environment then OLA is great. My child is very happy at OLA.
