You cant beat the small classes the individual attention ,a loving community and not least the Financial AID. a disciplined and academically strong enviorment. Mungai

As a parent who son has attended WJA from the 6th and is presently in the 8th grade; the teachers and staff are awesome. 7.30AM - 7.30PM gets the boys ready for college life. and it is discipline. The school encourages parent participation which is seriously lacking in DC public schools and it is not enforced. DC public schools are just day care centers where students are socially promoted without having the basic fundamental skills and by the time they get to the 9th grade, the kids drop out. Discipline is serioulsy lacking in DC public schools whereas in WJA, you are expelled if you display a behavior that is unbecoming. These were things I was looking for when I decided to take my son out of DC public school and I have not looked back. My son has excelled by leaps and bounds.

this school is an inspiring school that focuses on being a 'Men For Others' I'll soon be a graduate of WJA and I appreciate this school
