I was a student at both camden promise and camden academy. Both of these schools help me with college and how to become succcessful in the real world, yes they are very strict when it comes to academics and the school uniforms but it is all worthit. Charter has helped me get through life from the friends i met the teachers i have known. No its not a big school, but the teachers and students make you feel as a family member. Mr.Jones who is the principal at cmadne academy charter high school he is wonderful and make sure both the staff and students are on point with everything has to be done. My favorite memory at cachs was hearing mr.Jones on the announcment every friday morning at 7:30 ' its friday' he would yell. I graduated from cachs class of 2008

I taugh SPED at Camden Academy HS. during the 2006-2007 school year. From day one, the administration was organized and class schedules were in place. Mr. Jones, the principal was fabulous he was always willing to listen. I miss the school now that I am living in MS. I learned a lot from my students. I learned a lot about Hispanic culture. It was truly a neat experience. The one thing that I would change...I did not like floating from class to class. You really never get settled into your own space. A lot of the books and bulletin board ideas that I had- could not be put up, because it was not my classroom. Other than that, it was great!

Hello, my name is Jesse M.Coltrane, former student and activist at Camden Academy Charter High School and Camden Promise Charter School. I can admit that this was the best school I have attended, because of the staff see us as a liability and not an asset. We all strived to be the best in what we do. And the staff honestly cares and not just want to push you through. Academically, when I went through we were the first to do anything, but it was a great experience. The school let me open up with no boundaries, letting me start my own mentoring program, helping other students through their struggles. They also motivated me to strive to be the very best. I wrote the school song, helped picked out the mascot, and much more. C.A.C.H.S is my love and my life, and I thank everyone who was engaged in this experience.

With my son, no, but realized it's not a bad idea. For my daughter, we keep the concert programs where she played, and keep flyers of events where she volunteered. When college app time comes, she won't have to wing it like her brother did.
