Trenton High School is AWESOME! I attended this school in the eighties and had incredible teachers. As a class A school, it truly rates an 'A'! Today, my stepson attends THS, and from an academic and extracurricular standpoint, THS is among the best schools available in the Downriver area.

A typical High School...for he 70's. The School has almost no updates since then in almost any department. They are struggling for money and downright refuse to update the building itself. We are sitting in the desks our great great grandparents sat in. The school is so broke it paying teachers to retire and firing janators. Racsim in the school is common. Only Send you Student to Trenton if Donwriver High dont accept them....

Still a good school. Many districts are having financial woes....however, the leel of education remains here as well as keeping athletics intact.

I am not a parent of a current student but a former student myself. Although there are some aspects that irked me while I attended due to my immaturity, my overall experience was excellent. The teachers genuinely cared about their students and wanted them to perform to the highest of their abilities. The education I received prepared me for college. I breezed through my first two years at Ferris State University because of the knowledge I obtained at Trenton. I do not know a lot about the current situation pertaining to athletics but I think that it needs to be fixed. Playing sports left me with many memories and it is not fair to exclude students because they cannot afford to play. However, I would highly reccomend Trenton Public Schools to those thinking about moving into the area based on the education their children would get here.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
