This school is a joke. It is overpopulated, and greatly lacking in good teachers and decent faculty. Bullying is rampant, and ignored. Too many teachers and staff members are there only for the paycheck, and not for the kids (not all, there are a very few good ones). I will travel to another town before I put my remaining children in this high school.

My kid is doing great in this school. (My other kid is not attending yet). There is plenty of individual attention for my child, he does need some. He's smart but sometimes he needs a little extra help. The teachers are good at what they do and provide plenty of feedback to me.

This school has excellent academics, but there is no psychologist on staff. Counseling is done by teachers only. The main office does not answer the phone (it is an automated system) and calls are not returned. It is a wonderful school if your child is a high acheiver due to many AP opportunities and an excellent music program, but if your child needs help it is lacking severely in assistance, discipline, and quality.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
