My son is graduating on time! Thank goodness for Marin Oaks, if it hadn't been for this school my son would not be able to graduate with his class. The academic counselor and vice principal kept on top of his credits and ensured he did everything he needed to in order to earn all his necessary credits. The office manager is caring and keeps on top of absences and most of his teachers really care about his success.

This is the best public school in the area for our daughter who works better in a small, family style setting. The teachers know her academic and individual needs. They have been able to get her back on track and focused on her graduation. It hasn't been easy-she is a challenge. They care for each and every kid and it shows. The kids are proud to be at Marin Oaks and love it there. There is no Art, Drama or Music teacher per se but the teachers there seem to do extra to cover all of these areas. There is a leadership team that parents can join that works out various fundraising projects, parent involvement, school goals, etc. MO plans to start a school paper and is also putting together a recreational basketball team this year.

With my son, no, but realized it's not a bad idea. For my daughter, we keep the concert programs where she played, and keep flyers of events where she volunteered. When college app time comes, she won't have to wing it like her brother did.
