I am not impressed with the contact with the teachers. I have to email them and then only a few respond.

I am a gradute of KHS (way back) and I now have one son who is a freshman and one daughter in 7th grade. I am not pleased with the lack of contact with teachers. I have, on many occations, requested regular contact, by email, from all my son's teachers and have yet to have even one of them contact me without being contacted first. I do not like the progress notes without some follow up. I want to know when my kids are not turning in assignments or are having trouble in specific areas as I've always emphasized to the teachers that his parents are there to help out. Paying extra, plus gate charges to sports is not acceptable either.

I currently have a child at this school and two that have graduated. I am not impressed with the fact that we now have to pay for sports because of the budget cuts. I am not impressed with the new way they are handling their tardy policy. The school is two levels and some kids have their lockers on the total opposite end of the school from their classes and can't always make it in the time needed. The educators are very good and have done well to educate my children. I do believe the school needs to take a higher stand with their moral values.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
