Quality education. Teachers make terrific effort to keep parents informed on an ongoing basis. Monthly calendar sent from administration to keep parents abreast as to school events. Classes remain small to ensure that all students are allowed adequate attention and assistance as needed. Very caring and supportive staff. Top quality academic programs, where students receive Physical Education daily, as well as weekly visits to the library, music, art, and computer classes. At the younger grades, classes receive regular visits from guidance counselor to speak about age related issues such as bullies, drugs, etc. The school has National Beta Club for academic achieving students. They also have softball, baseball, track, volleyball, basketball and cheerleading for students to participate in. Parents are encouraged to participate as much as possible. A high technology school.

My son went to Red Bud Elementary from K-2, he now is in the 6th grade and no school has compared. He truly misses this school and all of his friends. What a great school and community!!

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
