Bemis Junior High School

to say i am unhappy with Bemis is an understatement, i was shocked at the treatment my child has received by her teachers . seems to me they are there for a paycheck and that is about it. as for asking for help with a subject that is a joke, the teachers seem bothered if your child needs a little extra help(its her responsibility)What are they there for? and as a parent do not complain, it will only get worse for your child. this is supposed to be the best years insted she now hates school ,her grades have dropped and she feels she has no support, this is sad. and forget about talking th the counselor they work for the staff not our children. i have spoken with other parents and the advise i have gotten is do not make waves, i have been told highschool wii be much better. i can only support my child as much as i can because these teachers just do not care and it shows.. i think they should be givin test and graded by the parents and maybe they would get there act togrther

I am a student at this school. I dont think this is a good school. Not because i dont like it i just dont think that they want us to stive as much as they try. Because if they did they would try alot harder

Great school. Look at their numbers. 'A' school as rated by the state. Test scores way above average. Good staff, many of them young. Utica schools in general are pretty strong, and this is one of the best in the district.

i went to bemis and it was the worst expirence of my life. i cried because i did not want to go to school. there was maybe one teacher out of the two years i kind of liked. there was nothing fun, they handled things poorly, dont recomend it at all
