The teachers are really great with the students. They make the school day fun. They also have programs like choir and band for the students to get involved in.

If you child has an IEP, this is the school for you. The teachers are innovative and able to accommodate your child's learning difficulties within an inclusion setting. The school takes an active roll in educating the parents in workshops to ensure a level of expertise that is available for their child to succeed. The teachers are informative and up-to-date in their learning methods and have the tools needed to ensure the optimum learning experience for your child without having any stigmatism attached. As a certified teacher in the making, this is a role model school for all other districts to emulate.

This school teaches my children respect for themselves and others. I feel like the cultural diversity within the school makes this school unique and beatiful. The teachers are number1!

This school is so great! They help kids and they challenge them. I don't know why some partents hate this school, it's such a great school. They try to have fun while learning at the same time. I love how while children are learning they are having fun at the same time. They let the children do so much like 4th and 5th grade have band and they can take lessons with instruments, there is a chorus that your child can sign up for! The school has a great connection with the parents. Kids can get so involved in this school because there are so many activities that they have at this school. Parents can get involved, too! They can help out with like PTO. They love when parents are invloved or want to be involved. It helps them out so much. I love this school and you should too!

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
