The building is pretty old and the buses are constantly late, but the teachers and principal seem to care about the children they teach. This is one of the better elementary schools in Chatham county, from my experience
My husband and I moved here from Alabama last year. Upon arriving here my husband left within a month to go to Egypt. It was very hard to adjust for all of us, but I was thankful for his teacher who worked really hard with him and helped him to bve more confident in himself and the school counselor Mrs. Beane (spelling?) who was incredibly loving when my son was having a rough time missing his dad. This year both my kids are attending the school; 3rd and Pre-K and they have awesome teachers in Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Carmichael. I communicate with both teachers via email and notes and have always gotten prompt responses. I also appreciated Mrs. Carmichael calling me personally before she went on maternity leave to ask if I had any concerns about my child. Thank You All for Your Support and Help!
