We have just moved here from out of state. Where we came from, a good education meant you had to go to a costly private school. I continue to be blown away by the academic strength of this public school - we've moved around a lot and I can honestly say I haven't seen a better school public or private. The extracurricular activities are great, parental involvement is welcomed, the principal is top notch as are the teachers. And while I love the academics at the school, I also like the fact that the school environment is nurturing, caring and fun. I don't feel the same push and overbearing stress that I've seen in the more competitive stringent private schools. My son is able to work to his full potential but isn't stressed out or overworked, either. Love the school.

The education my son recieved last year was top rate, his teachers were wonderful and involved. Parents have every chance to be involved as well. The safety at the school is terrible, any one can pick your child up at the end of the day. This is a major issue for me, I felt my son was in danger at the end of the day. The principal is involved but at the same time she over steps her boundaries into areas that she has no authority in.

As a parent, I would highly recommend this school. The principal is actively involved and knows the students by name. She knows the parents and will frequently stop you to talk about your child. I always have the feeling that my child is safe while at school. The teachers are great and are easy to get in touch with if you need to talk to them. All of the teachers have been available by email and phone and even give their home numbers to you just in case. The science programs are wonderful and my child is really excited about school on a daily basis.
