Our son made straight A's, but the neighborhood children in public school seemed to know a lot more. We finally pulled out of WOLA and it was more than obvious that WOLA did not excel in the education. They have serious issues w/admin and seperating the church and school. We also attended the church and really got tired of seeing the crooked affairs happening w/the pastors and the lavish lifestyle they cont'd to live while teachers were being let go from the school. They really shun ppl who leave the school or church, at least that is how we felt (and others we have spoken to). This is unfortunate because there were good ppl that really put their hearts into it, just not everyone. We do not recommend this school.

What make Word of Life Academy different from any other school is standard of excellence that is expected among the staff and students. My Child has been both in Public and Private school and the biggest difference notice in is her confidence. When she was at public school she was always so concerned about her clothes, hair and what her classmates thought of her. She would always be so self conscious about everything and tell me about the constant teasing.Since Word of life she has been so happy and even comes home singing sweet songs. We are so blessed to have our daughter here.
I love Wola. I have a son there and he loves going. He is always talking about his teacher and classmates. I love the fact that my child is in a Christian environment where he is loved and learning to love others. He blesses his food before he eats and sometimes reminds ME to pray before bedtime!

I love the culture & environment at WOLA. I receive support & daily encouragement from my co-laborers. I have taught at public & private Christian schools. I have never been so happy than at WOLA. In all my 7 years as a teacher, I have grown, matured, become better in the aptitude I was given because of the God factor that is truly evident in this school. My passion for educating the future of this world is ignited more & more every year as I continue to see students of great character, academics, creativity, drive, & ambition being produced & trained at WOLA. It's not a perfect school as none is to be found. I do know that I & the rest of the teachers always do the best in what we place our hands & minds to do. Teachers are also availing themselves during lunch breaks or after school.
