I'm a student at Flinn Middle School. Next year I am attending The 8th grade. I have been at Flinn sense the 6th grade. This is defenitly one of the best schools. Other schools have 6 bomb threats every month. And all the time I have been at Flinn Only ONE has accured. I met great friends at my school. And the teachers are amazing. The lunches are a little greasy. But you'll eat it anyway. :) We have a snack bar with tons of different things to get. The princables are pretty strict. But they don't cramp your style. Hall ways tend to be very roomy...Well...Sometimes. We just had Share fest come and clean up our school about a year ago...and the lockers went from Icky green. To shiny black. You defenitly get treated equally at Flinn. Everything is wonderful at Flinn. I wouldn't recomend another Jr. High.

I'm a student at this school!I use to enjoy going there but since budget cuts its gone very much down hill! The curriculum has seemed to been getting easier each year i'm there.I think mostly in part of the teachers. This will be my last year attending Flinn. There is a limmted amount of classes, sports, and the halls, classes, and entire school is over populated.I will be attending the gifted program at Auburn High hopfully my Freshmen year.Flinn didn't help me become very well prepared for the gifted test or any test at Flinn Middle school.Thats why test scores at the school are some of the lowest in district 205.Just send your kids somewhere else!!Trust me you don't want your kids to go there!I mean do want them to have sucess.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
