My son is a 5th grader in special needs class (LHS). His teacher is excellent - very attentive to his learning style and abilities, and very caring for him as a person. The principal seems to be very effective in contolling the day to day operations and long term goals for the school. I can't speak for the mainstream classes, but for my son and his needs, this is a great school.

I feel really satisfied with my son's development. This year he has become more social when just about a year ago he would hardly talk to other people. I really like the teachers.

Both my son (3rd grade) and daughter (1st grade) go to Key Elementary. This is where I went when I was in grade school. But over the years it has changed. My son is below grade level and really needs some of that extra help. I would really like for them to at least give some kind of options that would fit his needs. I really think the school should put more of there attention on where the students grade level is and not worry about if there going to get paid. Because the teachers now a days are not like before and that is really hard to cope with.
