This is the best preschool in Lafayette and probably one of the best in Colorado. The educators are experienced (30 years) and have devoted many years training other preschool instructors in the area (such as the folks at Louisville Preschool). They are innovative, child driven, and terrific in every way. The school is small and draws the best from a number of philosophies. The school has six or seven units a year (for example 'Faces', 'Dogs', 'Forts', 'Space', 'Water', 'Ducks') While the teachers carefully plan some experiences and opportunities to create a learning environment, they allow students to guide the units. The facility is clean & homelike, the toys are thoughtful and simple. This should be the first stop/waiting list for families in Erie, Lafayette, Louisville. As an educator with three children who has seen lots of preschools, both as a professional and as a parent, this one is outstanding.
