The teachers are great and most importantly they care about the the students and their education. My son had low self esteem and thought he couldn't read. Within the fist year he loves to read and feels he can learn anything. Its a blessing we found Harbor School.
I think this only thing that this chool offers is small class sizes but it has limited resources to actually teach a child that has a specific learning dissability. The fieldtrips that they do go on, are not even geard for children with learning dissabilites. The treatment I got when I withdrew my child was very unacceptable also.

Promised the world, received nothing. This is a business and they only want your money, they do not care about your childs education. Teachers are limited by 'the board', the 'director' (one and the same) and funding available.

My son was struggling in public school and his self-esteem was very low. By researching other alternatives for his education, I found the John McKay fund and Harbor school. This is my son s first year and I can say he has learned a lot, his self-esteem is very high, and he thinks he can do anything with hard work. His teach has taught him learning is fun and easy. My son s teacher is excellent well educated, and truly cares for kids. I could not have asked for a better teacher. Harbor school has excellent teachers and support for the kids. The school cost more then most but you cannot put a price on a kids development, self-esteem, and education. It s all about what is best for your child and their future. Now I can see a bright future for my son and he will attend Harbor School for another year.
