great school! The principal has a wonderful open door policy, even giving her home ph # oh her voice mail for after hours. The parents that complain are the ones that are not involved with their children! My 7th grader went to Haleyville since pre-k and my kindergartner is also going there.

The only problem with this school is the staff including the board. If you the parents don't keep close tabs on what is going on, they will do what ever they want with your child. And you have to fight for everything your child needs to great a good education. 99% of the time if your child dose not have an IEP forget getting anything extra you child may need.

Ithink that this school has some great teachers. They are nice and friendly. I have a son going into the 1st grade and one going into pre-k. The problem with this school however is that they can't even pass state boards. What kind os school worries more about the children looking exactly the same, than is is about teaching our children. It's not like it was just one year, but since my niece has been going there (and she's going into the fourth grade) they have not passed. Now, don't get me wrong if our school was better ay educating our children that i would have no problems buying uniforms. The only thing that i would recomend this school for is a mager overhaul!

A blog by nature is public territory. If you don't want something to be public knowledge, don't post it on the internet.
