I have been very impressed with Riverside Primary. This is my sons first year here (he is on a school transfer) and I have seen so much growth in him. The school is always clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I have attended every PTA meeting and I learn something new every time. They have hosted a couple of literacy breakfast, learning workshops for students and parents, once a month family night-out. I could go on and on. My experience here has been very positive.

I love Riverside Primary. My daughter is in her second year of school and I can tell that the teachers really care about the students. The principal keeps the school in tip, top shape. It also helps that it is a new school building. The Enrichment Program teachers are phenomenal too. They give the children a good foundation in math and science so that they won't fall behind in higher grades.

This was my daughter's first year in Kindergarten. She came mid year from a Gwinnett County school which I loved. She was always advance and top of the class since preschool so I have high expectations of her. When she came to Riverside Primary her teacher claimed she was behind. Her teacher was concerned because my daughter couldn't read and write sentences. In Kindergarten?!! She was just learning sight words! I thought the teacher was being a bit extreme but after working hard on homework assignmennts and continually practicing and keeping updates of her progress, my daughter ended the school year being one of the top students of the class - reading and writing journals! Riverside Primary has met and even exceeded some of my expectations. Great 1st impression.

I think you will definately find what it is that you are looking for anywhere you go. I am a parent who expects the best from the myself as a parent, my children and the teachers. I have 3 children and 2 of them all have attended this school. My experience has been great every year--not perfect! My children have grown here both academically and socially.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
