St. Gregory School is incredible. The entire school community is like a family. Not only do students consistently achieve at a very high level on standardized tests, the teachers also have high expectations for their students. I couldn't imagine sending my children anywhere else for a better education and faith formation.

There are many problems at the school. The academics are aimed at the average or below average child. There is no push to challenge those students who require more. There are major communication problems and parents are seen as necessary evils who are left out of the loop repeatedly and are routinely chastised. Favoritism abounds. Parent involvement is not wanted, other than for fundraising.

I currently have 2 children enrolled in this school and we could not be happier with our choice.

This is the BEST school. My daught was learning things you normally learn in tenth grad in 8th grade. She is now in 9th grade and is getting straight A's even in her honors classes. The students and teachers are very kind and they treat you like you are their family. They will take you aside personally ant talk to you if your having a bad day or just need someone to talk to! Its a small school but you feel likea family. The pastor will teach the students and every kid there are friends. I have been very impressed with this school. They offer a ton of extra curriculer activities and sports (basketball, volleyball club, forensics, challenge of champions, cross country, and much more) this school is one of the highest ranked schools in the state. They learn about their religion. They lean about everything.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
