I would have to say there are great teachers at this school. I would beware if you are of color...do not get in 2nd grade Bain's class. She has a problem with people of color. Other than that teacher there are great teachers and the principal is excellent!

I agree with ->Posted January 4, 2011. This school is a mess!! You can't walk your children to their class..... I don't get how the parents are delighted that their kids attend this school. The teachers are allowed to say the word "S*****" during class; If you speak with the principal or teacher about an issue, you basically get laughed at. The teachers wants to TRAIN the students to be robots, and they want to change the way the parent raised their kids. (SO FORGET ABOUT RAISING YOU CHILD RIGHT) The school is a joke. Idk how this school got a 10 rating, It just shows not to believe what you read, but what you see in person!!!!

I would consider this school as the best in Southern California. If you are a parent and are considering your kid to be exposed to a balanced education - then this is it. The teachers are engaged in delivering a wholesome education to the kids.

Every single encounter I have had with the office staff here has been awful. They are incredibly rude. It doesn't matter if you have a smile and a great attitude. You won't have either when you leave.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
