Our children have attended MCCS for three years now. The teachers and staff are amazing! They truly care about each student and take the time to know and understand each child's learning ability and how to better teach them. The students are encouraged to respect their teachers and peers at all times. It is a very encouraging, loving and Christ centered environment.

Our two children have attended Mason County Christian School for 10 years from preschool through 8th grade. They have excelled on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) with test scores above the 98th percentile. The faculty are encouraging, supportive, loving, and Christ centered. Our children are being taught to think critically, seek Christ first, and serve others. We highly recommend Mason County Christian School to families that want God to be first in their lives.

This is one of the best schools in Mason County. The students enter into the local high school at the top of their classes after attending Mason County Christian School. The teaching staff are well-trained, caring and encourage the students to do their very best!

My child attended this school and did well academically. There are some awesome teachers and a few that are not but overall my child liked it and learned alot. However dealing with the other parents through school activities or fund raisers was not a pleasant experience.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
